Microsoft examines hacking Hotmail



Microsoft is exploring reports that a huge number of Hotmail passwords have been hacked and posted on the web.

A provide details regarding the tech blog neowin.net asserts in excess of 10,000 records have been posted on a webpage. The blog proposes accounts that have been hacked or have been gathered as a component of a phishing plan.

Neowin expressed that the points of interest were posted Oct. 1 to pastebin.com and that the greater part of the hacked email accounts were situated in Europe.

In an announcement to RTE News, Microsoft said it was 'currently exploring' the cases and would not make any further remarks until tomorrow morning.
